Kelowna International Airport (YLW): Approximate driving time is 30 minutes to–1 hour, depending on the weather; distance is 32 kilometers or 20 miles.

Driving directions from Kelowna International Airport: From the airport, take Hwy 97 heading toward Kelowna, and then turn left onto Hwy 33. Follow Hwy 33 for approximately a half-hour until you see signs for Big White Ski Resort. Turn off at the signs and follow the road to the resort.

Many visitors to Big White Ski Resort take the shuttle bus from the airport to the resort. It runs approximately 12 times per day in either direction.

Skiing is undeniably the main draw for guests at Big White but a number of other winter activities are available as well, such as snowmobiling and ice skating or helicopter tours and horse-drawn sleigh rides. Perhaps the most fun, though, is the Mega Snow Coaster, North America’s largest resort tubing park.
